Founded in 1946 by Wilfred Albert Forsey, we remain an independent family-run firm of funeral directors offering a personal, professional and sympathetic service with complete flexibility to accommodate the needs of our clients. Our success has meant that we now cover a wide area of Somerset, providing a 24 hour service.
Membership of the professional organisations regulating funeral directing provides reassurance that we observe strict codes of practice in all aspects of our work.

Our Staff
Our diligent team of staff are on hand in order to provide the most professional and personal service for our clients. The team is headed by Managing Director Adrian Forsey, who has been within the Funeral industry for more than 30 years. We currently employ a team of six Funeral Directors, located between four branches.
In continuation of the Forsey legacy, the company was delighted to recently welcome Adrian’s son Samuel into the business.
Memberships
In our commitment to a professional service for all our clients, we adhere to the guidelines put forth by the National Society for Allied and Independent Funeral Directors (SAIF). SAIF are committed to ensuring the funeral profession maintains the highest of standards, with members subject to their Quality Assurance Assessment and inspected every two years.
We are also a proud member of the National Association of Funeral Directors (NAFD), which represents the interests of the entire spectrum of funeral directing businesses. This allows us to keep up-to-date with developments within the industry and have access to a wide network of funeral directing professionals in order to provide a comprehensive and current service to our clients. Membership of the NAFD also ensures that clients are protected by a rigorous code of practice to which we must adhere.
